The Australian PlantBank is a remarkable new plant conservation laboratory at The Australian Botanic Garden in Mount Annan. It is part of an international network of scientific institutions seeking to preserve global plant biodiversity. The facility is positioned globally as a symbol of preserving the natural cycle from the germination of the seed to the propagation of forests. Today, PlantBank stores 20 per cent of Australia’s flora.
During our recent inspection of the FDC Building at the Australian PlantBank, all the inspections were performed in accordance with the protocols required to prevent any damages to the natural flora and fauna. The importance of flora and fauna is vital for human existence; flora liberates oxygen consumed by the fauna for respiratory activities. Fauna, in turn, liberates carbon dioxide consumed by the flora for photosynthesis.
At Effective Building and Consultancy, we value the importance of preserving the natural environment for future generations to maintain a healthy and functional ecosystem.
