The 25th of April is one of Australia’s most important national occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the first world war. This is a time for all Australians, and many others around the world to come together and reflect on those who served and died in wars, conflicts as well as peacekeeping operations. The eight-month campaign resulted in more than 8,000 Australian soldiers losing their lives. Their actions had a profound impact on people back home. Since 25 April 1916, we have come together as a nation to remember the sacrifices made by those soldiers.

We are currently facing difficult times and taking the time to honour veterans and those currently serving our country, is an opportunity to reflect on what we hold most dear. On this ANZAC Day, our team at effective building & consultancy pays respect to all our servicemen and women for their sacrifice and service to our nation.
